    • New newzealand.com

The Tourism New Zealand portal as been gussied up with Flash MX navigation tools. The nauseatingly panning and zooming images I would bin, but the scrollbar of images is very nice. This raises the bar for other New Zealand web sites.

    • The mysteries of the deep blue

A gigantic sneeze has been found in Chile. Also, did you know that the average New Zealander is usually physically closer to a giant squid than a kiwi? By that kind of logic, we should be "squidies." Catchy.

    • FeedDemon

Nick Bradbury, creator of TopStyle (the best stylesheet editor around) and HomeSite (one of the most popular text editors) is releasing a fascinating new product. FeedDemon aggregates weblogs toghether on your desktop, making it something like a news reader, something like an email client, but yet different. Weblogs are growing up.
